The year is 2020 and what’s a covid crew to do?? Well, throw a Halloween/Birthday Party featuring the breakout movie of that year, Zombies 2! Trick or Treating wasn’t an option so we decided to get together the most extra theme and do it BIG!!! And let me tell you, our efforts were noticed, but I’ll get to that in a minute.

Anytime 2020 is mentioned it automatically sends chills down my spine, as I’m sure it does for you, for any number of reasons. For me, that reason is online school at home. UGH, what a time to be alive. And I thank God for the living but it was ROUGH. We decided that we deserved some massive fun for Halloween. We had done good with keeping our circle small and letting our kids get all the socialization they could so that we parents could stay sane. Well during a weekend hangout, one card game lead to another and we came up with a group costume, with the loser being the least desired character. Bucky, the over achieving, obnoxious cheerleader that we all couldn’t stand.

The species

We had all the species from the movie represented. We had, the Humans. Addison, the main character, her friend and teammate Bree, Bucky, Addison’s cousin and head cheerleader and Coach!

The Werewolves. Featuring Wyatt, Willa, Wynter and another wolf member.

And…the Zombies! Bonzo, Eliza, Zed, Zed’s little sister Zoey and Zoey’s stuffed dog, Zander.

Let’s face it, we had a LOT of time on our hands and our efforts were not in vain. Everyone came dressed to the MAX and we were all so impressed but not only just us. Look who was commenting on our social media post of our costumes.
