HEY, I’M LEAH!

As a mom of three who’s traveled to over 40 countries and rebuilt homes from scratch more than once (lots of moves!) - I’ve learned that home and travel aren’t opposites. They’re part of the same story. My goal is to help families create a life that feels like home no matter where they are…

whether they’re catching flightS or choosing paint colors.

Almost 40, married, girl mom - You know the normal stuff you tell people

The Leap

Hi, I’m Leah! I am a Pediatric Nurse turned interior designer. Long before I ever called this “interior design,” it was something I naturally gravitated toward. It started with flipping through teen magazines, completely captivated by the room makeover pages, and begging my parents to let me paint my bedroom. I’ve always believed that a space has the power to change how you feel, I just didn’t have the words for it yet. That instinct followed me into adulthood, showing up in every home I created for my family. Layer by layer, I found joy in turning our spaces into something that felt warm, personal, and lived in. Then travel expanded that perspective even further.

After visiting over 40 countries and spending a year abroad in Portugal, I began to see design through a new lens. one rooted in feeling. Inspired by the color, texture, and lived-in beauty of spaces around the world, I returned home ready to create something different. I stopped designing for resale and started designing for life.

Now, I help others do the same! creating homes that feel collected, cozy, and completely their own. A home that tells your story, one layer at a time.

My People,The Places

I’ve been married to my husband, TJ, for 15 years, but if I’m being honest, I loved him long before he knew it. I may have played a little hard to get, but I always knew it was him. Our life together has been anything but stationary. We’ve moved more times than I can count, starting out as newlyweds with no kids while I worked as a travel nurse and TJ worked remotely. Then came one baby… and instead of slowing down, we decided to bring her along for the adventure. We’ve lived across the country, grew our family while in Denver, Colorado, and eventually made our way back home to Orlando. But it didn’t take long for us to realize, we weren’t quite done chasing that sense of adventure. In 2023, we packed up our lives and moved our three girls to Portugal for a year abroad — and it was nothing short of magic. We returned to Orlando in the summer of 2024, and while we’re so grateful to be back near family and dear friends, that season of travel changed us in the best way. Our girls are now 12, 9, and 7, and while we’re still in the thick of raising them, we already know they’re going to be some of the best people we know. Our goal is simple — to give them a life full of experiences, to teach them kindness and gratitude, and to raise them with the faith that guides our family every day.

OUR TRAVEL STORY

OUR TRAVEL STORY

Travel… ahhh. One of my favorite stories to tell. It all started with a simple question: “Do you want to go on a cruise to the Bahamas?” The answer was an immediate yes.

I was 21, it was my first time leaving the country, and we haven’t looked back since. During our dating years, we spent more time planning trips than anything else. And when we got married, we made a promise to each other — that travel would always be part of our story, even after kids. And we’ve kept that promise. To this day, we still take a trip every summer, just the two of us, exploring a new country together.

But we didn’t stop there.

Our oldest had a passport and was headed to Jamaica before she even turned one. Part of that was luck (she really was the best baby), but a bigger part was realizing… this kind of life was possible. So we kept going. With each new baby — #2, then #3 — we pushed a little further. More places, more experiences, more confidence in traveling as a family of five.

And now? TJ and I have traveled to over 40 countries, and our girls have experienced more than 30 of them right alongside us.

HOMES ON HOMES

HOMES ON HOMES

My husband and I have lived under about 15 different roofs, which still feels wild to say out loud… especially since we’re not military.

Over the years, we’ve owned three homes, two in Orlando and one in Denver, Colorado. That Denver home was our biggest project yet, with major renovations that included a full kitchen, bathroom, and an entire basement transformation.

In between, we’ve lived in more apartments than I can count, and even rented two homes during our year in Portugal. It’s safe to say, we’ve become experts in decluttering, packing, and starting over.

But this current home?
This one has been different. At six years, it’s the longest we’ve ever stayed in one place. And while I’m not sure if it’s our forever home, I know one thing for sure, I love her.

When we moved to Portugal, we rented our home out and I had to cover everything we had created with layers of white paint. We sold most of what we owned and packed the rest into the smallest storage unit possible.

It was a complete reset. Now that we’re back, I’m approaching this home with a new perspective. One shaped by travel, by experience, and by a deeper understanding of how I want a space to feel.

I’m no longer designing cautiously, I’m designing with intention.

With color.
With personality.
With the goal of creating a home that truly feels like ours.

And now, I get to share that process, from the pieces I’m loving to the paint colors I can’t stop thinking about, and everything in between.

The things you don’t tell...

Starting this design business feels like coming home to something that has always been a part of me.

It’s also been a reminder of something I’ve had to learn along the way, trying new things is scary. The fear of failure is real, and no one wants to get it wrong. But I’ve realized it can’t be the thing that holds us back from becoming who we’re meant to be.

This season of life has been about rediscovering that.

About choosing to do the things I’ve always wanted to do, even if they feel a little bold, a little uncertain, or long overdue.

Maybe it started when I got a half sleeve tattoo at 35.
Or when I got my nose pierced in Portugal at 37.

Either way, something shifted.

Stepping into who I am, fully and unapologetically, as I approach 40 feels not just important, but necessary.

And this business is a part of that.

Rooted in faith, fueled by creativity, and built on a love for creating spaces that feel warm, personal, and truly lived in, I’m choosing to go for it. Because the life you want, and the home you dream of, are both worth going after.
